Description
Reindeer lichen is a symbiosis of a fungus and a green algae. Reindeer specialize in eating these lichens because it is available year-round on the tundra where they live. Real reindeer moss is therefore a very suitable addition to the diet of reindeer in captivity.
Nutritional advice
Briefly soak the reindeer moss in water, it absorbs the water and becomes soft. Drain it after soaking and feed it directly to the reindeer.
